My chocolate chip cookie journey started 15 years ago, with cookies so hard, it could’ve been used in a hockey game (true story).
But truthfully.. A Happy Cookie was born during a really tough time in my life, you could say I was the ultimate sad cookie. *ba dum tss* Baking for loved ones gave me small pockets of comfort and joy but what really helped carry me through was the unexpected grace and kindness of others. So here I am today, just doing my best to pay the kindness forward, one cookie at a time, and hopefully help someone else through their sad cookie moments.

There are all kinds of chocolate chip cookie lovers, some like 'em thick and cakey (somewhere between a slice of cake and art in cookie form), others swear by the thin, crispy kind packed with butter and sugar.
While we love a good chocolate chip in all shapes and sizes, the ones on our menu? They're the classic cookie. Not too cakey, not too thin. Everything a classic cookie wants to be when it grows up.
They’ve got a good ratio of crisp, delicate edges to a soft, chewy center. Layers of flavour, toasty, not too sweet, and balanced with a pinch of salt. Always fresh. Never day-olds.
Honestly soul-satisfying with a cup of coffee. Our cookies are just enough to hit the spot.. but aren’t overly decadent you’ll regret going back for seconds (because you will).
